We serve delicious homemade scones and cakes, as well as light lunches and refreshments, which are also available for take away. The cakes are all made by people close to the The Lost Sheep and they're pretty hard to resist (my shrinking clothes can vouch for that!)

There is a lovely big outdoor seating area where you can relax in the sun, or we can provide cushions and rugs on a chilly day. The tea room and outside area cannot be seen from the front of the shop which means that word has been slow to get out about this hidden gem, but we're working on that, helped by the fab reviews we get and people returning for the delicious cakes.

In the summer we have tables and chairs out the front of the shop. There is a slope at the side of the shop which many people use for access with buggies/prams.

Children - Pets - Wifi 

We have Booster seats available for young children, a box of baby/toddler toys, and baby change facilities. Unfortunately we do not have official disabled access as the Tea shop is downstairs, but we have many customers who use walkers and walking sticks and easily manage the gentle stairs.

Access its through the shop, but if you are pushing a pram there is a slope to the right of the shop which leads round to the tea room. It is not the gentlest of slopes, but we haven't had anyone not manage it yet :) and we are happy to help if needed.

We're regularly asked about dog access; we have our own dog who is often to be found sat at the door to the shop (against Sally's better judgement!) so we understand the wish to be able to take our four legged friends with us. However, with an open plan kitchen, pets cannot come into the tea shop, although they are welcome in the outside seating area.

Free Wi-Fi is available, and we have phone charging points.

Gift vouchers for a Cream Tea are available at a cost of £6.95 per person.

Our delicious Rustic Afternoon Tea can be booked with 48 hours notice, and at £27.50 per person is great value.

We have several options of Gluten Free or Vegan cakes available, and we have GF home made soup and roll options.

Please note last orders are 30 minutes before the shop closes.
